Laser light is used as therapy in patients with retinal bleeding disease. Argon laser is still often used for photocoagulation. Laser shots that are often given are at a dose of < 500 shots, and are more specifically applied to retinal bleeding with causes of Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR) or proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
